Not letting the Pandemic stop your celebration?

Good for you! Here are some of our top tips on how to go about being safe while you’re doing it. We’ve encouraged all of our couples to wait until the pandemic is over but we understand that some still want to have a safe and intimate celebration to commemorate their union. We hope these tips will help you make the best decision for all of us.

Provide Extra Masks and Hand Sanitizer for your guests 

Just to be on the safe-side, it’s always best to have too much than too little to ensure that your guests feel safe when they’re amongst each other.

Matching Masks for your Wedding Party

Make it safe but also trendy. Have fun with this!It’ll make you and your party feel good about wearing your mask plus it looks great in photos!

Have a solid timeline in place

We can help with this part! This helps with making your day flow smoothly and ensures that you get the photos that mean most to you at the best time of day for them. As a bonus let the family members who you want to be in photos know that they will be needed for photos.

Plan to have signs to remind your guests to social distance and/or to wear their masks

We know no one needs to be reminded but it’s a little extra peace of mind statement that your guests will appreciate.

Temperature tests for your Wedding Party and guests

This is an easy precaution that most employers use when allowing people into an enclosed space for a long period of time. We thought this would also be helpful at weddings. Again, another action for peace of mind.

Make sure your vendors are wearing masks

All of your vendors should be wearing their mask properly at all times while servicing you and your guests.

Ask your vendors what precautions are they taking

As photographers we wear masks properly all day. We social distance as best as we can and use our zoom lenses as often as we can. We bring our loud voices so guests can hear us. We bring our own hand sanitizer to keep on us at all times. We have minimal to no physical contact with anyone. We also elbow bump now instead of hugs or handshakes (no offense guys).

Look into hand washing stations 

We’ve seen this at one wedding that we attended and thought that it was pretty brilliant and more couples should know about this handy little addition.

None of these are fail-proof but if put in place it will help reduce the risk that we all take when we're all taking the risk of congregating together.
