Our Morning at The Owings Mills Metro Centre Marriott in Maryland | Family Travel Influencer Blog
I've seen Owings Mills all my life but I've never seen it like this.
Watching the sunrise over foggy mystic green hills, 10 stories high with my 3 year old daughter. Sharing some of my favorite stories about growing up in the area and having her respond by pointing out the babbling brook hidden beyond the trees below us and mentioning the deer that peacefully congregated there to drink from the stream. It was a magical kind of morning, one that deserved to be captured.
The Owing Mills Marriott invited us to stay a night at their new location at the Owings Mills Metro Centre.
We had previously visited for Brunch at the Tillery (which was delicious) so our expectations for the hotel were already high. Actually staying the night here exceeded our expectations and we're already excited for our next visit!
The Suite that we stayed in boasted over 900 square feet with a deluxe kitchen, dining room, living room surrounded by windows, a half-bathroom for guests, 3 large screen TVs, a luxurious bedroom and a spa-like master bathroom. Whenever we travel with Bailey we bring her a small blow-up mattress so that she can have her own personal space to sleep. Her little bed fit perfectly in our bedroom beside our bed. We took advantage of our morning by grabbing breakfast early at the Tillery and grabbing snacks from the M Lounge to have for the room until check-out. Garrett was in virtual meetings all morning and Bailey had some important projects on her tablet to finish up so the extra space and wifi in our room was well appreciated.
Upon exploring this hotel,
we noticed their modern and expansive state of the art meeting space which has a total of 15,000 square feet (absolutely perfect for a wedding if any of our engaged friends are interested). Their main ballroom can host up to 1,200 guests and has an adjacent outside space for guests to step out and get fresh air without missing out on the celebration. Keep in mind that parking right outside of the hotel is free (and can hold up to 2,000 cars) and if your guests would like to spend the night, you can be confident that they are staying in a clean, modern space with wonderful amenities and exceptional customer service. The Hotel is just steps away from the metro station to access downtown Baltimore if you or your guests like to get out and about. If your guests wish to stay and explore just the area around the hotel, they would be happy to find fun shopping options and plenty of unique restaurants and eateries.
Overall, we loved this hotel and we're excited to see it make its mark in Owings Mills as time progresses.
Love Deeply,
Megan + Garrett
