Some weddings feel like pure magic,

and Naima & Gary’s wedding at Overhills Mansion was no exception. With its historic charm, lush greenery, and timeless elegance, Overhills Mansion provided the perfect setting for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. As a husband and wife wedding photography and videography team, Garrett and I were honored to capture every beautiful detail of their special day.

A Romantic First Look & Stunning Wedding Attire

Naima and Gary both got ready at the mansion, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Naima looked absolutely radiant in a Martina Liana lace wedding dress, featuring a scalloped train and plunging V-line, with artfully placed lace accentuating her timeless beauty. Her bridesmaids complemented the soft, romantic vibe of the day in powder blue dresses, while Gary and his groomsmen looked sharp in navy blue suits, adding the perfect contrast to the light, airy tones of the bridal party.

Before the ceremony, we arranged a private first look for the couple. It was an intimate, emotional moment that allowed them to soak in the joy of the day together before the festivities began. After their first look, we took them around the picturesque grounds of Overhills Mansion for stunning bride and groom portraits, ensuring they had plenty of time to be present with their guests later in the day.

An Outdoor Ceremony Surrounded by Nature

Naima and Gary exchanged vows in a breathtaking outdoor ceremony, where butterflies fluttered around them as they pledged their love to one another. Their ceremony space was elegantly adorned with navy blue draping, set against the backdrop of towering trees and lush greenery. It was the perfect blend of romance and sophistication, creating a stunning environment for them to say, “I do.”

Cocktail Hour & A Lively Reception

After the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests during cocktail hour, while Garrett and I took advantage of the quiet ballroom to capture all the beautiful wedding details. As guests made their way inside, the energy of the reception was electric—and with good reason.

Gary, a proud member of a Black Greek Fraternity, was celebrated in a way that made the evening even more personal and meaningful. The music, the toasts, and the dancing were all infused with love, tradition, and an overwhelming sense of joy.

A Grand Exit in a Rolls Royce

As the night came to a close, Naima and Gary ended their celebration in style, driving off in a sleek Rolls Royce, marking the perfect ending to a truly unforgettable day.
