We traveled to the most southernmost Sandals Resort location shortly after it’s Grand Opening to see if it would live up to the hype that we had been seeing in ads for months.

Well… we hope your not too surprised to hear that it TOTALLY lived up to all of the excitement!

My husband and I are destination wedding photographers and if your planning on having a wedding or your honeymoon (or just a romantic getaway), we’d LOVE to share why we love this location so much!

First things, first!

For our couples who wish to get married here, check out this ceremony space! It is the best that we’ve seen at any Sandals location. Not only is the architecture striking but it has the best view of the sunset in the evening that you do no want to miss! Jus imagine what that would be like on your wedding day….unforgettable. There’s also enough space for you a large wedding party and guests to all fit and enjoy the momentous occasion.

I dont have any professional pics of our room but I will be posting a walkthrough tiktok soon. Our suite was amazing and easy for us to access. What we loved about this resort is that while it was sizable the layout was wisely crafted and it didn’t take us forever to walk to where we needed to be. The rooms were also designed beautifully and we love that they have so many different types of accommodations for guests at almost any price point. Check out these lodgings!

For those of you who love well manicured landscaping like us,

you’re going to love the variety that this location offers. So many different flowers and vegetation growing on the grounds that attract hummingbirds and butterflies throughout the property. They have a lagoon beach with a pier that attracts a plethora of wildlife including turtles, puffer fish and a host of other tropical fish. The best part about that is, Sandals offers you snorkel equipment free of charge so you can view everything as close as you wish.

This Sandals location also made room for little hangout spots for couples throughout the property.

We really love lounging in random places outside so this was perfect for us! Everywhere you look was like a postcard and as photographers that’s something that does not go unappreciated by us.

Regrets: We didn’t take advantage of leaving the property when we stayed but next time we would love to step out and go to town. Everyone we spoke to who went out had a great time. Curacao is also very popular to scuba diving so next time we return I would really like to take a boat for Scuba!

ok back to the good stuff… As usual, the all inclusive food and drinks were phenomenal along with the service. Top notch per usual.

Last but not least….

We’re both very competitive and we love games. Anytime we go to Sandals, we’re praying that they have shuffleboard because it’s our absolute favorite lol we’re usually lucky if they have one board but this location has TWO giant Shuffleboards! This was the icing on the cake for us! They also had other games scattered across the resort but if I had to make any recommendation to Sandals it would be to add more games for us all to play :)

All in all, as of now, this is our favorite Sandals Resort. We highly recommend this for lovers who want a little extra play along with their restful romantic getaway.
