We don't usually do a lot of in-studio portraits, but when it's for a cause as noble as this we are ecstatic and honored to fulfill our purpose as photographers.
We captured some deeply intimate moments with 8 Breast Cancer Survivors this month to capture the reality of being diagnosed and the significance of having faith in a dark situation.
1 in 8 women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer, but statistics aside, personally our own lives have been affected by this disease. Although we haven't gone through it first hand, we know the toll it takes on a person and not just the physical aspect but the emotional drain that it could have on an individual. It's one of the hardest battles that some may ever encounter but to look at treatment as an opportunity for growth is what makes us phenomenal. And THAT is what we saw in every single woman that stepped in front of our camera.
