We asked Kaitlyn, What 3 Words that describe you as a couple?
"We are polar opposites that really complement each other, so it's hard to put it into 3 words. But I would say I'm quirky and high strung, while Chris is level headed and easy going. He does a good job at mellowing me out while I help motivate him to move forward. We both have a love of water and slight obsession of our dogs."
So naturally, it was only right that they include the pups in their engagement session and take photos near the water. Patterson Park is the most dog-friendly park we can think of in Baltimore (we're open to more suggestions in the comment section) and the perfect location to bring the doggos along for a few photos.
Tips for adding dogs into your engagement session:
1. Always bring treats. In fact, bring too many treats (just in case) . Here are some of our favorites.
2. Most dogs aren't Models. They're going to do what they always do lol just go with it and have fun.AS long as you’re having fun with them the photos will come out great! PS Bring a sturdy leash. Here’s the one we use for our pup.
3. The more the merrier! (1 dog is great but if you have 2 that's even better!) Also, if you want to bring a friend who your dog is familiar with to the shoot, that’s a great idea! They can hold and play with your dog while your taking some photos with just the two of you.
After shooting in Patterson Park, their dogs went back home and Kaitlyn and Chris changed clothes and we met at Browns Wharf to take a few photos by the water and by some in historic Fells Point. We couldnt wait to get back home after this session to play with our own pup.
Congratulations Kaitlyn and Chris! Thanks for spending the afternoon with us. See you guys next spring!
