We missed traveling during the Pandemic so much that our wedding team decided to create a destination wedding experience for this couple without leaving the state.
This Tuscany inspired Wedding Styled Shoot
was exactly what everybody needed this year. We made it through 2020 and just needed to celebrate with a theme that made us feel like we were out living our best life but in the comfort of our own home state. Tira from Tira Lynn Events knew exactly what we needed and immediately started working on authentic concepts that evoked the emotion of Tuscany, Italy without the risks of traveling abroad.
The scene took place at sunset at The Tannery Barn in Taneytown, Maryland.
This gorgeous venue with it's large windows and spacious indoor space was perfect for our couple and inviting for guests who love a little extra breathing space.
Our bride's look embodied a romantic, soft silhouette of a gown by Maggie Sottero: Rebecca Ingram. Because what bride doesn't want detachable, tulle sleeves to create two perfectly darling looks for her special day. She paired this dreamy look with soft, natural makeup that will be sure to give you that wedding day glow.
Our groom has a custom made gray suit fitted and provided by Shaw's Covenant. His look is classic and dynamic fitting for both a winter and spring wedding.
After the couple's first look in the main barn area,
they took a few candid photos in their vintage photo booth outside (Famous Vintage Camper) before heading upstairs to the loft for their intimate ceremony. The ceremony space was styled in an array of blossoming roses surrounded by candle light. We wanted the couple to experience the ambience of the venue and really feel the romantic theme of the evening.
After the ceremony
the couple sat down at their specially prepared sweetheart table for a remarkably Italian meal. The menu selection for this wedding reflected the simple elegance of Tuscan food. Myeshia of Maddies Kitchen created her own heirloom tomato lemon ricotta bruschetta that was shared with our lovely couple. Along with a charcuterie board for two featuring fresh baked Focaccia to give you a taste of a traditional Tuscany board. Last but not least the art of pasta is a major part of the Tuscan food scene. This heirloom carbonara was set to finish their wedding day in a marvelous way.
They finished the night by fireside, sipping white wine and sharing stories from the day.
