So I was talking to my friend Cara a couple of weeks ago
during her branding and headshot session for Wimberly & Co and she expressed to me how her business started. Like many of us in the wedding industry, she was inspired by her own wedding to get out there and help others plan the wedding of their dreams. So she married the love of her life and got everything in order to create a full-service wedding planning and event design boutique that serves clients in the Washington, D.C. area, along the Atlantic East Coast and international destinations.
She started to book weddings
and BOOM the pandemic struck! 2020 was absolutely crazy for engaged couples and wedding professionals but like everyone else Cara rolled with the punches! She decided to be the best that she could be for her clients and for her business as a whole. She applied herself to learn more about the wedding industry and to even get her foot in the door with more vendors by doing styled shoots (which is how we met earlier this year).
So Why is this important to know?
Wellllll since most 2020 were rescheduled to 2021 and 2022 and the marriage and engagement rate has increased in America over the past year, you can see how planning a wedding nowadays can be a little more trickier than before. Which is why having someone who knows the ins-and-outs of the wedding world in your corner can really come in handy. We have noticed more of our clients holding on tighter to their wedding planners than ever before and we totally encourage that because they will be your biggest advocate when visiting venues, finding your perfect vendors, reviewing contracts and coordinating even the smallest details of your day.
Cara says “With meticulous planning and flawless attention to detail, they will take the stress off your shoulders while ensuring that every single detail is exactly as you imagined it for your biggest day. With our impeccable service, our perfect planning = your perfect day!” Now at a time like this, what bride doesn’t want that on their day.
The next two years will be extremely busy for wedding professionals
which means prices will increase across the board. It’s best to book your wedding vendors as soon as possible to ensure you have everything that you really want for your special day. We try our best to help couples with their wedding planning process but nothing is better than having your own personal wedding planner.
We hope this blogs helps in your wedding planning process and if you’re out there looking for a photographer to help your brand’s image stand out, we would love to offer a free image consultation! Just reach out to us at Hello@megapixelsmedia.com or send us a quick message HERE :) Have a Great Day!
