You don’t have to go far for a Destination Wedding
and now that the COVID pandemic has changed all the rules when it comes to wedding planning, you don’t have to be feel guilty about hosting an intimate gathering for your wedding. Ashley and George had plans for a much larger wedding, but when the pandemic hit they started to make plans to just say “I Do” amongst their closest family members, friends and us, their friendly husband and wife wedding photographers. They found a small island near their home to call their own for one hour.
They followed all of the states regulations and guidelines for an outdoor gathering/wedding and we’re so respectful of everybody’s space, energy and time during the event. All of her guests practiced social distancing from those not in their household. Ashley’s father walked her down “the aisle” which was actually the bridge to the island where George was waiting for her. The had their ceremony in the shade, under lush green leaves by the water quietly crashing against the dock. Turtles by the shore stuck their heads out to witness the union and afterwards they celebrated with champagne.
We wanted to show that even in an intimate session outside, you can still celebrate your marriage and have beautiful photos to remember the day.
